Michael Joseph Cotton is a Massachusetts writer, composer, and astrologer. His books move among symbolic systems, questions of reality, and the intimate stories people carry—bringing a composer’s attention to rhythm, structure, and emotional resonance to the written page.

He earned a Bachelor of Music in Composition and Film Scoring from Berklee College of Music in 2011 and an MFA in Film Music Composition from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in 2015.
